Brown's big day not enough, Hardaway Hawks Varsity blown out 7-0 by Russell County 2/18/2013
Hardaway Hawks Varsity dropped a 7-0 decision to Russell County at Golden Park on Monday. Cedric Brown got on base two times in the game for Hardaway Hawks Varsity. He singled in the second inning. Trevon Dorsey shut down Russell County while he was on the hill. Russell County managed just four hits off of Dorsey, who allowed three earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his four innings of work.
The game was never in doubt after the first, as Russell County scored three runs on an RBI double by Anfernee Grier, a passed ball, and a groundout by Bj Brooks.
